       DSD21 automatic tipping-bucket rainfall station is widely applied in meteorology, hydrology, agriculture and environment protection, in particular for specialized monitoring of geological disasters such as torrential flood, harnessing medium to small size rivers, medium to small size reservoir risk-removing and consolidation.

        DSD21 automatic tipping-bucket rainfall station is 24-hour meteorological monitoring equipment specially designed for observing rainfall and air temperature in geological disaster stricken areas, especially rural areas where torrential rain strikes frequently. The whole system includes integrated high-precision data collector (with intelligent GPRS/CDMA/SMS modules) together with the solar energy recharging control, storage battery, etc and related sensors. It can operate on a 24-hour basis in unmanned severe environments. These stations could also form mesoscale meteorological monitoring networks, with each DSD21 automatic tipping-bucket rainfall station as a sub-station transmitting data to the central station. Applying the CAWSAnyWhere2010 software for regional AWS integrated data collection platforms, these stations are capable of remote parameter setting and accessing, data access and processing, with flexibility of SMS setting and accessing parameters or through display terminals for meteorological elements. Two different types of installation are mast and cabinet modes.
